Hey! I’m a friend of Shauntae C. and I was wondering if you could please answer these questions about Alopecia? I’m doing a News article for my Newspaper class final and I would like to interview you. If you would like to remain…
ive had alopecia going on 3 years now. when i was diagnosed i asked my dad to shave my head. the hair hasn't grown back yet. it hasn't affected me at all. ive always believed that my hair doesn't make me. but i am still blessed.i guess it differs from person to person on what blessed is.i was born and raised in loving and caring arms.i remember more moments of joy and laughter than those of sorrow and pain.i haven’t been dealt any life threatening experiences.i have developed into my own individual with my own thoughts,my own way of living, and my own path in this world. and i actually feel more free without the hair. i like buying new styles of wigs and being able to take them off when it gets super hot. its a big relief. and i have a huge support system from family and friends especially my girlfriend. i don't know where id be without her. i just hope i can meet some friends here in alopecia world!

yeah college credits from high school are the best..they help you out a lot...good luck!
my major right now is athletic training and pre-dental...i have to decide soon which one i plan on sticking with...im leaning towards pre-dental, but we'll see what happens.
I´m planning to shave it too, but my family thinks that I am exaggerating....so, I decided to buy a wig first so I wouldn't shock then.....
maybe they think that I'll suffer, but I think that they are already.....
