- Hi! I love music, movies and traveling. Shopping is one of my favorite things to do. Shoes are my obsession. Sports are a huge part of my life. I play basketball and golf and love watching football. I am going to SUNY Stony Brook for my undergrad. I am a pre-dental biology major and I eventually want to be an orthodontist. I was diagnosed with AA just before my 4th birthday. I had patchy spots up until I was about 10-11ish, when I lost all of my hair. I've had AU ever since then....Update time...For the past few months my hair has been growing a lot...well a lot for me. So now almost my whole head has some hair/peach fuzz. I guess I just have to wait and see what happens next!
Unlike many people, I actually like being bald. I never really had a problem with being different than everyone else. I think that today's society is so superficial, and we need to break away from that.

Due to my rediculous work load this semester, I am just completely exhausted from writing so many papers. Good news for you is that you don't have to listen to me carry on about nonsense. As I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, music is my therapy. I cannot function without it. This is going to be a farely short blog...for now. I have to be in class in 20 minutes, but I had an epiphany as I was getting dressed this morning. People stare at me all day long, so why not give them something to look at? I typically am a 'plain Jane.' I don't really like to stand out. Instead of being stared at looking 'average' (whatever that is), I decided today that I am going to look the best I can every day. So it's been a while since my last blog: just about 6 months. A lot has changed since then. I graduated from high school, which pretty much cut me off from anyone I talked to there (not that I care too much). I went and got myself a job over the summer. I worked 5 days a week from 7am-6pm. They were pretty long days, but money is money and I am in some pretty deep debt from my college loans. Then after an extremely quick few months, I was off to college. I don't usually blog, but I need to vent...so here I go:
I've had Alopecia for as long as I can remember. My entire life I've dealt with the stares and double takes, just like everyone else. For the most part, it didn't bother me...at all. I would brush it off and not take any notice to it anymore. Walking through the mall or anywhere else, I expected people to look, so I almost stopped realizing when this happened. Why then, is it starting to bother me all of a sudden? It doesn't… Continue

- yea! i start college in the fall but these AP classes are killing me. I'm kind of glad art college has a different curriculum. But at least ill be prepared and if i pass the AP tests i get the college cred which is also an upper!
