I never had the treatment because I don't like prednisone's side effects. Don't like having AA, either, but I can buy a wig for that, and AA doesn't weaken the bones.

Of course these are not wigs for me...and when I look for wigs, they are so much more expensive, and still, to find the right color and style is so hard.

and thanks for your answer on the discussion board. i know what you mean. i feel the same way. some days i can deal with the hair loss pretty well but other days i just feel so bad about it that i hate everyone and everything. i ask myself whyit has to be me and stuff like that.
but i realize that there are many kind and caring alopecians out there that are proud of what they are. and they have every reason to be. :)
