- Im Hollis. I am 14 and live in the UK. I lost my hair last spring. Like 2/3 or 3/4 of it. Then, it started growing back and I used some steroids (prescribed my dr) to help it come in. I also have some really close friends with alopecia varying from areata, trichotillomania, and universalis. Its a hard condition at first, but after a while, you'll get used to it and realize nobody really cares about your hair. Its only important about the inside.
