- About Me:
- I lost my hair 7 years ago, in a few weeks time. It grew back, entirely, but it took 3 years to full regrowth. There is always hope, as it shows. Nevertheless I think people with alopecia areata can be very beautiful, being bald does not mean being less attractive.. For the dutch association I'm occupied with writing stories and articles for the magazine Hoofdzaak. If you want to share your story with us, I'm very happy to publish it in our magazine. Love from the Netherlands.

I just collected the pictures of the animals but I find it to be a useful tool to teach children that they aren't the only ones that get alopecia (mind you the naked mole rat is always hairless). It took me years before I went out with no wig on but I've done so for the last decade now. That's awesome that you do some writing for the magazine there, I would be greatly honoured to give you any information you like for your next edition if you still want.
