- Wow. I'm so happy to have found such a cool website on alopecia ! I'have had alopecia since my early twentys. I'm now 34. I finally decided to shave my head about 2 and a half years ago. God, did that feel good. I wear hats at work and I enjoy wearing hats and buying them. I have every color of the rainbow in them. I'm not quite confident yet to go around outside of my place without wearing them yet. But I feel that I will get there with the support of this website. Not to mention the weather is getting warm and it will just be to hot to wear one !

Finally made it to Texas. All the way from Idaho and feels like I have moved into a different country. People drive here as if gold is at the next light. Freakin fast. Big change from in town speed of 25 mph.
When I moved here, I made the decision to wear the "Love me or leave me outfit". As is. No returns. The one that was always in the closet. Meaning going out without a scarf or hat. Come to find out, it's been my best outfit yet.

Getting ready to move to Dallas Texas and out of the 2 emotions there truly are love and fear. And I am scared out of my wits about entering back into my old stomping ground where I grew up and lost my hair and is a big city. I feel all of my defenses coming up, protection mode ie: fight mode. Anxiety. Rapid heart. Also just about three weeks ago quit my antidepressents too which was a good thing for me. I will be moving in one week. So, my FB account got hacked into by someone in Israel. Strange, I know.I hear it's happening more often now. So I scheduled a complete deletion and I don't mind because out of the 180 something friends I have on there I never felt as comfortable talking about what's really going on. Hello beautiful people. So, I fell for it. This really cool stylist who cuts my sons hair kept saying to me: You know, The formula for Nioxin has really improved you should try it. Being tired of covering up my head with hats and scarves I thought, oh hell why not. So,$45 dollars later for the shampoo and conditioner. Then $27 more for the scalp treatment.
