Baldness is fine. Only I'd really like to have eyelashes again since they keep out the dirt. Not likely to grow back however. And also, eyebrows would be nice but getting them tattoed just wouldn't work - too two-dimensional and fake looking for a guy. But what about velcro? Just think - you could change your expression by hand.

Sussspicious! ... could be fun :)
Someone told me that there is a hilarious running gag on Arrested Development where a guy with Alopecia keeps having trouble with his stick-on eyebrows... I've got to check this out...
Do you have alopecia?

Hi Scott,
Nice to meet I was looking saw your pictures.
And thought I would say hi.
Just wanted to ask your a question or ask your wife.
How does she feel about you having alopecia?
Look like from your pictures that she is a very caring person.
I have Alopecia Universalis too, and I have a great husband that accepts me the way I am.
He said he didn't marry me for my hair.
Isn't it great to have someone who really cares for us. For us .
I still have hard time with me excepting it. I know that its for a reason.
And I am taking one day at a time.
Just wanted to say hi.
Take care:)

Yes.....as hard as it is that we cannot control the hair loss...we cannot control "HOW" it comes back scattered all over.
I left it a couple of days...& now I have painful bumps.
I have told my son..." need to shave it every day without fail, or the painful bumps come in"
He says he loves the sleek look...yet advised me to just leave a 5 O'Clock Shadow...Number 1!
So that means...he still, does not quite understand our problems.
Now I am sore, because I wanted to make him happy!
However...the shadow just makes the darker spots look terrible against the vast bald spots.
This all started when I was 14...when my hair was butt length.
Then it all came out when I was 19.
It's been about 39 years & of course societies "DRAMA" never ends!
Next year I will be 53..& have thrown all the old baggage from the past away.
I wish all Alopecia "Emotional Sufferers" could be where I am today & listen to us.
It's a crying shame, that we lost so many precious years, worrying about something we had no control over.
Same Ol same Ol!
Nothing any different than we have heard before.
I walk without head covering....& embrace all of me.
Whether anyone likes it or not!
Have you read some of my blogs?
I always say..."DON'T BECOME A PRiSONER iN YOUR OWN LiFE"
I maintain that!

What is so tragic to me...is that my mother stopped me from doing anything musical. She had a major hang up...as her parents left her with the grandmother & were always away on tour.
So she said..she didn't want us to have that life style.
Sad to think..that my passion is singing...& piano.
I used to sing & had main rolls, top rolls in performing at school..yet my poor mother stopped me from singing.
It was a slow process..yet she did accomplish her goal!
I am an Artist though and listen to Aviva sing on my profile page...she is trying to mend my broken heart!"SMILE

My great grandad & grandad both played trumpet, sax, all reed instruments.Violine, Chello...also conducted one of the Greatest Orchestras in the Netherlands. Before & during the war!
Later on during the War in Europe, my grandad started a jazz band.
My ex played Ameture trumpet & does it at church now.
My kids are all musically inclined...my daughter sings...my other daughter likes producing beats....& my son sings, also is in Music & Entertainment.
Starting up his own label foreignity.
I used to live in Eureka California/Idaho & remember driving up through the Redwoods, to Portland.
My son was in Portland a couple of years ago visiting friends.
Great family photos you have...good looking sons!
Nice meeting you, your wife & family.

I was living in Western Washington state when the job was offered to me. I no longer work there I now work in the Milton Freewater school system. I work with elementary kids who have behavior disorders. I love them a lot and it's been great teaching them ASL.

take care and thanks for the note.

Eileen
