I'm doing really well! I'm doing book signings and interviews, and trying to paint and play with my dog and cats, and planning a trip to New York in Sept to see some shows, and one to Santa Fe in October to check out galleries for my work!
Lots of fun, but also tiring...

Hi Deborah

Welcome to Alopecia world and thank you for posting your message.
i can understand that your tired cuz of hiding and the pain alopecia brings you. for me its many years ago that i lost my hair and i was a little girl, so choices are made different then. I just followed my heart at that time and i knew i wanted to have my real hair or my real bald head.
for over 20 yrs i learned to deal with walking around bald, although in 2006 it got harder and i started to doubt if i wanted to go out bald.
But i think im a bit traumatised over a wig cuz of my experience when i was little and at this moment my heart still feels that i should go out au natural.

Deborah, take your time and do what feels best for you. Remember that your the one who have to take good care of yourself in the first place.

anyway you can talk/vent/cry/laugh to me anytime you want to.

Take care of yourself, i know it all feels overwelming now and too much, but if i can deal with it than others can to. sometimes i still feel the pain to and i think that is not bad at all. for years i didnt felt it and ignored it, but i think i ignored my feelings to. dont do that cuz when it all comes out together it will hurt even more

Hugs
Tam
