I spoke out
I spoke out to kids yesterday about everyone is differant.I had the pride to take off my wig off and told them I have Alopecia.Some had questions that were very nice.A little boy did ask if i was teased and picked on which I said yes at first.I did tell them not to pick on,tease or judge anyone which is wrong.I did tell them I have husband AJ that loves me saying I still look beautiful without hair.They did clap when he came out knowing he sees me as a person.I had fun and had pictures taken…See More

It's one of the most personally life-enhancing things women with alopecia do for themselves. You really can't be a whole woman if living with a secret every day.
