Changes you've made to your hair care routine since diagnosis?

Has anyone discontinued hair coloring since diagnosis with FFA? I usually get highlights done (which involve bleaching) and when I asked the dermatologist if I should stop, she said I could keep doing this. However, I am still thinking about not doing them for now. How about demi-permanent or permanent hair color? Has anyone continued to do this?
