Has anyone found anything that helps to relieve the scalp pain/burning that sometimes occurs prior to hair loss. My daughter has been complaining for days that her hair hurts and her scalp burns. We have tried Advil and sometimes Olux Foam. Any other suggestions?

My daughter, Rachel, is 10 and has had alopecia for about 10 months now. She is almost completely bald at this point. She does not wear a wig or any headcoverings though she has both. She has been dealing with this so incredibly well that she is an inspiration to all who know her.
