- I am a single mom of three wonderful children(2,4,and7). I have had Alopecia Universalis for about 14 years now. I lost all of my hair in three weeks. Thank goodness I was warned from a great dermatologist that this might happen, but as we all know its still very sad. I used to hold support groups in the area here(Upper Peninsula of Michigan) I have stopped due to going through a divorce. I am ready to start up again. I am told I handle my condition very well and bring the best out of a bad situation.
