- i currently suffer from alopecia universalis i have now come to terms with being bald would love to chat and email other in same situation, especially people in united kingdom.
i also would like to help others who arent coping well and need someone to talk too, as i have finally come to terms with being bald and im raising awareness on this condition.
Im now proud of my dome...................... and you all should be proud of yours to.

ANOTHER NIGHTMARE DATE WITH THE RENAULT MAN......

WELL ON THURSDAY NIGHT (02/07/2009) I WENT OUT FOR A DRINK WITH A GUY CALLED GLENN WHO WORKED AS A MANAGER FOR RENAULT CARS.
I MET GLENN THROUGH A NETWORKING SITE AND MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS, HES REALLY GOODLOOKING, TALL DARK AND HANDSOME.
THE NIGHT WENT REALLY WELL AND WE AGREED TO MEET UP AGAIN THE FOLLOWING EVENING.
THAT NIGHT WHEN WE SEPERATED AND WENT HOME, GLENN CALLED ME ON THE PHONE WHEN HE GOT IN.

HAVING BEEN ON LOTS OF DATES WITHOUT SUCCESS WHEN THEY FIND OUT I HAVE ALOPECIA, IM UNDECIDED ON HOW I SHOULD APPROACH THE FACT I HAVE NO HAIR.
1, DO I TELL THEM ON FIRST DATE GET IT OUT IN THE OPEN AND IF THEY HAVE ISSUES, SAVE WASTING MY TIME.
OR, 2, DO I GO ON A FEW DATES BEFORE I TELL THEM ABOUT MY CONDITION, COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS, AND WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IN SIMILAR SITUATIONS.....
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR ADVICE.........

ON THURSDAY 25/06/2009 I WENT ON A DATE WITH A GUY CALLED JAMES FROM SUTTON COLDFIELD FOR THE SECOND TIME, HAVING ALREADY BEEN ON ONE DATE WITH HIM.
ON THE FIRST DATE JAMES WAS ALL OVER ME LIKE A RASH SAYING HOW GOODLOOKING I WAS AND THAT HE COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS SINGLE HE ALSO TOLD ME HE LOVED MY LONG BROWN HAIR !!!! ( YEP MY NHS WIG), AFTER LEAVING ME HE THEN TEXTED AND RANG CONTINUOUSLY TILL WE MET UP AGAIN ON… Continue

Well heres another story, last week i went on a date with a guy called Martin, he works for the auto mobile service.(The aa in the west midlands)
I first met up with him last friday and he seemed really nice, however i did have a wig on when i first saw him but he knew i was bald.

I cannot believe that all those men can be so shallow I believe there are men out there who can look past hair or no hair. You are a beautiful woman.
