I am getting there

This week, on my way to work on a beautiful warm spring morning, fretting what I should wear, (all my spring coats do not have hoods and I need a hood) I am walking on a busy Downtown Toronto street when I see a beautiful 5'8" 26- 30 year old stunning bald girl walking with all the confidence in the world. I went up to her and said " Hey, I have alopecia too and it is such a joy to see you" She said really you look great. Made my day. Had to share it with you all.See More

Hi all,I only have one human hair wig and yesterday I had to take it to be cleaned. The place I take it is so far away, I leave it there on a Thursday and pick it up the next day. That means I called in sick yesterday and today. So I am a little early to pick it up and I decide to stop at this little mall nearby. It has a big winners I want to check out. Had bouts of alopecia areata for the past 30 years. I have recently lost (three weeks) over half of my hair. I am off for a consultation with a wig specialist. My sister has had alopecia universalis for the past 30 years. So I kind of know whats in store.
