About Me:
I'm 23, going to college studying Art History and English and maybe going to law school soon! I have had AA since my freshman year in college... it slowly progressed to the point that I lost almost every hair on my head. I shaved what was left of it and began to wear a wig back in October 2008, but recently, it has almost all come back after I started using Dritho-scalp, which is originally a prescription used for people with psoriasis. I wear alot of hats right now while some spots are still filling in, but am so happy with my results lately!

I finally shaved my head!!! I already had purchased a wig, but needed to have my hairdresser thin it out, cut and style it, and color it. I was absolutely terrified of having my head shaved but I feel SO much better now having it done. I even think I look cute without hair! Very Evie from V for Vendette... or Joan of Arc!



My new profile picture was taken last night right after I had it shaved. The back and other side of my head is missing a lot of hair, and is bald with some regrowth… Continue

My wig is like the man wigs, do you know? I can wear an adhesive to hold better! And I take shower with it, and it's much more practical than the other ones! I feel fine with it! But if you have hair will have more difficulties to wear these wig!

I find that losing your hair when you are so young is so hard. I am still not used to it, feel so ugly when i look at myself in the mirror. is only when i put makeup and my wig on then i feel abit better. I am in Cancun now, and is very frustrating because is so hot and i don't want to wear my friggin wig. I want to enjoy my vacation but i don't want people to see my bald head. One night i took my wig off and i am like screw it, I am going into the water. and that feeling was GREAT. but i wear my wig again the next day. Hhaha
