- I have Alopecia Totalis. I have had no hair half my life. Im trying to find a place where I can relate to others. You can see my before and afters on a website. I don even like to have pictures of myself without my wig on. I have a husband and two children. My teenager now has possible signs of having alopecia!!! I am an attorney (litigation) and currently employed a large firm in Newport Coast. I have been practicing civil law for over 15 years. My hair loss has really affected me personally and professionally throughout the years

Today I visited Wig Gallery on Pacific Coast HWY. in Newport Beach. Nice lady waited on me.

I went to the wig gallery today in Newport Beach. The sales lady was very polite. Same wigs here as I see everywhere. Scary mannequin heads starring at me and I felt like I was in a dark nightmare from a scary movie. But, she was nice. I saw the same synthetics. she has many hair pieces to choose from. I would have loved a small poof of hair , but I have nothing to attach it to. Didnt buy anything. I was chased away by a bunch of smiling mannequins that wear to much makeup. Just to let everyone know that World of Wigs was a no go. Same old synthetic wigs, same old hair, same old pricey chinese human hair. Over priced. Well I have Sat morning off to check out another wig shop in Orange county. Anyone want to start up a wig shop review group? This could be fun!
