Hey Neighbor! I live in Hillside. I have had Alopecia on and off from the time I was 12 years old until now (I am 42 years old). It is a tough blow but you can get through it. This disorder is frustrating at times, but I just keep thinking there are far more worse things that could be had and then I remember to be grateful.

Hi Jillian, my daughter is going through this crazy letting go as well. Being her best bud I am going through it along side her as much as I can. I am sorry for your struggle. My beautiful daughter is trying to make sense and make plans. We are in a western suburb of Chicago as well. chin up girl! your gonna beat this even without hair. what kinda of wigs are you going to look at? did you ever check out that site www.newlifehair.com always another choice for a wig. But look J my hair grew back yes i have a few little spots but maybe it's just gotta run it course. Kims right I felt so much better after I shaved my head it gets you used to what you might end up with or in my case i had such a great amount if hair lost growing it back from scratch was best for me. I think there are a lot of people who have regrowth then total loss.
