About Me:
I am Tayo Irvine Hendrix and Mum of Jack G who is 13 years old and GORGEOUS GORGEOUS *smiling* he is the most adorable boy with a great sense of humour and kind heart along with that handsome face! Jack is naked from the neck up and a little shy about it so I am hoping that somebody out there will consider writing to Jack and be there for him as he can be for you, to talk about and share your emotions. I am a spiritual counsellor and healer to many and know the benefits of discussing and sharing our emotions with others through shared confidence. I would like to share my alopecia experience with other parents who are perhaps going through the journey alone [as it can so often feel like we are*smiling* however, we are never truly alone and this experience is only there to make us stronger and our children are stronger for this. I don't know what the universe has in store for Jack but I do know that whatever it is he needs to be strong and confident and that I believe he is and will be as he grows in his alopecia. One day Jack's hair may come back , but he is not defined by having or not having hair he is defined by his actions and those actions speak volumes. If I could give Jack all the confidence he needs to survive this condition I would do so in a heartbeat but I know that his journey includes alopecia at some level. So alopecia allows Jack's true beauty to shine through undisguised. I am sooooo proud to be his Mum and I look forward to the connections I may or may not make through this website. Blessings Tayo.

Though this is a London based group you do not need to be in London to join and connect with other like minded individuals.
