"Hi Reesepieces, worse case, you can have the bangs removed and replaced - but it is going to be very expensive - the cost of a full repair.  As to the density - it's very hard for them to make each one exactly the same as another one.…"
Debbi Fuller commented on Maya's group alopecians who have a freedom wig! (or are getting one)
"Sorry Scrappykat, but the Freedom only works if you have a clean-shaven scalp or no hair at all.  Otherwise it won't suction and provide you with the right security.  If you HAVE to wear a wig to go out in public, then down the road…"

Alopecia and plastic surgery

OK, I just found another good reason to have AU. I had a little "tuck" done on my face and my doctor said that he wished that everyone had alopecia! He didn't have to try and hide stitches in my non-existent hair line!!

Just read your dating advice! helpful, so insightful and wise. I am recently single and very stressed about starting a new relationship and a new guy discovering my wig situation. I completely agree that if hes worth it hell understand and accept it blah blah but that doesnt change that its an incredibly crap and awkward situation for both us and the guy. But thanks again Debbie. Ill def be using your advice.

Thank you for being so supportive. It was actually really beautiful out. In the low 60s high 50's and sunny, felt like fall.Tomorrow should be a little colder. Have fun in DC :)
