About Me:
Hi everyone! I am 25. I am currently in grad school working on my Masters in Special Ed. and work as a Special Education Para at an elementary school. I have had alopecia for a few years now. It started with a few random spots but eventually all my hair fell out. When this first happened, I had it treated by a dermatologist I was referred to for about a year but it did not seem to be working, so I stopped and just let it all fall out. He said it might grow back in a couple years on its own but so far that hasn't happened. So, I just heard about this site from a friend the other day who randomly came across it and I thought it would be great to have that support, especially if this is going to end up being more of a permanent thing than I originally thought!

Hey, you're actually braver than me then, because I wear a halo wig (hat with hair) under my bandana. I haven't yet summoned up the courage to just wear the bandana, even to walk around the neighborhood. Silly, I know.

Wow, so for a whole week you have to walk around with scabs on your eyebrows after the tattooing? That doesn't sound too good! Do banged wigs cover it up well?

Hi, thanks for the add! Can you tell me more about the eyebrow tattooing? I've just started losing some on my left eyebrow, and I pray it doesn't get any worse. But, just in case, after the tattooing are you "presentable" or do they scab over like normal tattoos?
