- I am the mother of a 16 year old girl with AU. The hair loss started when she was 11. She has delt with it very well but it has been somewhat harder for me. I helps to see that people go through their teen years with this and come out on top.

There is a place by us in newport called wiggin out, heard it has great wigs for kids!!..Chloe is not yet ready for a wig but I've researched alot... My daughter is 7 and has AA..We live in Costa Mesa, ca..My daughters Alopecia is progressively getting worse and she feels that she is the only one who has AA..I have found a support group in LA, our first meeting is May 22nd...Where do you guys live?? Her wig is beautiful, where did you get it?? is it a vacuum wig??
