Since my last post I have regrown most of my hair, as you can see on my profile pic. There is only some missing above my ears and on the back of my neck. Even though I thought my dificult time was over, I had not really recovered emotionally yet.

The last few days have been quite stressful for me.. and one morning I woke with part of my upper left eyelashes missing. I'm not sure what this means. Will my hair fall out again? Will I lose my lashes? I've read many personal accounts about alopecia on this site. And I also know to expect the unexpected....

If you want you can get cortisone shots your eyebrows and if really concerned about losing your eyebrows you can have them tattooed with the hair that way if you do lode them they will be in the right place. I found after the tattooing that they came back for many years. The eye lashes are tricky and I have no recommendation except change your make-up. Remember this is autoimmune and you may be introducing something that is causing the white cells to attack the lashes. They say (medical community) if you freeze your makeup for 24 hrs it kills any bacteria. Hope all re-grows... by the way i am AU and after having my eyebrows tattooed, I kept them for 5 years until i got vaccines to go to India then I went AU within 2 months!

I notice loss of one eyebrow's hairs after wearing eyebrow powder from a well-known company for hypoallergenic stuff (Cl...Q...).

Congratulations on your regrowth Amber. You can't help but feel ambivalent about it, this condition is so very unpredictable. For my draw on brows, I've gotten good results from CoverGirl brow pencils and Smashbox brow powder. Most likely your doctor will want to give your eyebrows a shot since your scalp is doing so well. I pray for the best for you and keep us posted on your progress, it gives me hope.
