I am an IT trainer working full time for the NHS. I have 2 children a boy 24 and girl 21 who are my life. I live in Scotland. I got alopecia totalis nearly 4yrs ago and am only now coming to terms with it. I have a lovely partner who is very supportive.

- Your are welcome. I guess I am not an expert on this site but when I first joined I started my own discussion and I found that very helpful. So many people here care and are supportive. I noticed that you have replied to a couple of discussions. That helps to get to know people and also get another perspective of how people are coping with AA. Some people write a blog, they find that good too. Good way to 'meet' lots of people and get their views. I will send an invite to you of a group you might like to join. Or you can look through the groups yourself and join any that interest you. The tool bar at the top of your page has a 'Group' heading as well as 'discussion' and 'blog' heading. If you are into chatting online you can do that as a group or a private chat with a friend. If you dont wish to leave comments on a persons page you can send them a private message which option is usually on the left side of a persons page.
Hope this gives you a start anyway. You can spend as much time on this site as you like and make many friends.
