- I had alopecia areata since the age of about 10. About 5 years ago I had 80% hair loss, and most had grown back. Recently though, I'm starting to lose hair on the top again, and the thought of wearing cheap, itchy wigs again is freaking me out. I'm looking to share my story with others and to hear theirs.
