For the last 24 years, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation has put on a four day conference that has changed the lives of the thousands of attendees. The conferences are for people of all ages who have alopecia areata or care about someone who has alopecia areata. It provides the attendee with the information that they need, including the latest medical and research updates, to better understand and manage alopecia areata. It also provides attendees with a wealth of support.

- I am 32 years old from Manchester UK. I have had alopecia since a young age, but do not let it hold me back in life. I work for Barclays Bank full time, and am an Area Manager at Manchester United on match days. I play bass guitar in two rock / blues covers bands and love music. I enjoy decorating and improving my house, skiing, barbecuing, red wines, mountain biking, watching Man Utd away matches as I work at the home games, and watching live music. I am on face book as well if anyone wants to find me on there.

There's also 2 new videos on my facebook if you wanna check out the old covers band. (Slightly dodgy as we hadn't seen each other for months and months but hey who cares!?!) I'm well thanks, quite busy at work at the moment, working long hours, hence the lack of opportunity to log on to AW. Until a few weeks ago work had again been pretty thin on the ground for a few months, but it always gets busier in the run up to christmas. This is editing work of course, I only ever did work the one match at Old Trafford, I always seemed to have editing work lined-up whenever they offered me shifts there. Have you given up on that now?
At the moment it seems like if I'm not working, sleeping or eating, I'm out on Chorlton Ees walking the dog.
We went away to northern Spain for a couple of weeks at the end of September, cycling in the mountains in the Picos de Europa. Had a lovely time, quite strenuous though!
How are things with you? Saw the photo of you and the family, all looking very well!

- Hi mate, thanks for the add! What bands do you play in? I was a pro musician (play keys & guitar & sing) from leaving school until I had my little a girl 3 years ago. Just in the process of putting a new band together as I really miss playing, feel like one of my limbs is missing!
