Talking it out was a good idea.....but another factor is that if he's a guy who is very tuned in to the "visual" (ykwim)...that could be one more factor, but he's shy about saying it. Thea baldgirlsdolunch.org

Well, no. LOL You are mostly right. :))) We talked about it and he said that he accepts more than ever did before. He thinks hair doesn't matter as long as a woman dresses like a woman and acts like a woman. LOL. I think he finally realized…

As a total stranger reading the question posed, what I see is that there may be something else entirely going on. It's not about the head shaving. And it's not about him at all. It's about you. You can show your concern for these…

Hello Jessie and thank you for your compassion and empathy. Bless you for putting children with cancer in your life of service also. Inspiring that your hospital presence will be silent witness of a strong woman. Without hair. ALL kids need to see…

I want to shave my head again, but should I tell him?

I shaved my head in August this year for Locks of Love. I don't have alopecia and it doesn't run in my family. But since I was a children and after my father's death from cancer, my mother taught in a young age to give to others in need. Since then, I always wanted to give back to the people.Anyways, I'd like to donate toys for cancer children's hospital. I will be asking people in my school to give toys. I know that my fiance would not like the idea of shaving my head again, but I would like…See More

You are a beautiful girl. Even when your hair falls out, you still have confidence. Keep similing and remember: "True beauty is within!"

Thank you Linda for your comment! I think your bald is beautiful. Women do not need hair to be beautiful. Inner beauty is everything to me. You may not always have your hair, you can always have your inner beauty. Thanks! -Jessie

About Me:
Hello everyone!

I do not suffer from alopecia. I shaved my hair for the cancer children for Locksoflove. It was a great cause. I think bald is beautiful on women and that true beauty is within. My fiance and I are soldiers in the army. He is currently in Afghanistan until April 2010.

I am here because I believe in fighting against diseases like this as well as cancer. I think it isn't right for a disease to force a woman to go bald. I also don't believe that a woman shouldn't be shame of her baldness as well. There is nothing wrong with accepting yourself for who you are. Just because you suffer from hair loss doesn't mean you are not beautiful. I think bald women by choice or by disease are beautiful to me.

I'm glad to be here and be part of a positive movement. Now let's go get them!
Do you have alopecia?
