- My Parents and I took a trip down to Florida when I was 6 years old. I had long blonde hair to my butt. White almost. One day, sitting in from of the mirror as my Mom was brushing and clump after clump came out. By the end, it was ALL GONE. Here we are...another state...what do we do...What is this?
Returning to Minnesota, I immediately had an appointment with Dr. Hordinsky. Where I would be if I hadn't met her? She was amazing and explained it all to me.
My whole childhood was constant tests, biopsy's and general steroids. At that time, I just wanted my hair back. But here I am...over 25 years later and you wanna know what!? I LOVE IT!!! I wouldn't change a thing about it. I am SOOOOOOOOO comfortable with who I am, and I honestly believe that this has made me into the kind and caring person I have become. I haven't talked to other Alopecians in years. Please feel free to ask anything as I am an open book
