haha i see you got talent eh...ur comic story reminds me of this short film i where the young mother was going through the same thing. And her family would do all sort of things to help her cover up but of course the wind and what not seem to always…

- Un Dia estaba en el tren con mis amigos y una mujer con la condicion Alopecia se habia entrao el carro y mi pana fue hablando mal de ella, y si tu me pregunta es muy pendejao pa'hablar de una persona que tiene qualqiuer condicion asi que dije a ella lo siento po'ellos y ella me dijo de su condicion y despues de eso creé un caracter con esa condicion po'que hoy dia mayoria de la gente no sabe na' de estando en el lugar de una
otra persona, caminando es sus zapatos sintiendo su problema. Yo This Puerto Rican which is me, and other like me are just here to show support and take up the fight against the sillyness people would show towards you because of your condition. Truthfully you all look fantastic, Que hermosa ustedes. Lot of people out there are racist or just out right ignorant, we will all face it, how we confront will bring out our character so to all of you on here (Te Tengo pana)-I have got ur back.
This is a small Synopsis of the character that I created to show that Im here to help and to show support:

Oye que bola gente, This Rocky Manuel here this page is dedicated to the story I have wrote about Marina. A nice Puerto Rican woman as normal as you or I, but there is one small problem she has Alpoecia. I have put a pics of the drawings that i did of her on here along with her story.
This is the Story of Marina Ailine Manuela Martinez, born of Puerto Rican & Cuban in the south Bronx of New York city, now living in Chicago’s Humbolt Park area. Marina was born with a condition know as Alopecia Universalis, a condition that makes all the hair on your body fall out every where. This comic book series will depict her daily struggle and triumph when she decides to stop hiding her true beauty and leave her wig behind and take on the world and societies views of beauty as a bald latina.
This is my story dedicated those women Latina or not who don't hide their true beauty, tho this world is full of pendejos, dummies ect. keep ya head up, Esto es pa'ti---Enjoy

i have created a character known as Marina, a lovely Latina who has Alopecia Universalis, the story of this character is a woman who decides no more and throws her wig in the trash and is ready to confront society not worring if they except her or not, its just a brief synopsis of here on my page in the about me section so check out the pics and the story, Gracias.

Published by North Light Books. Also get Grey's (Gray's?) Anatomy, and study the superhero comic book art. Pay attention to proportion, female vs male muscle depiction, profile and three-quarter views, and action poses. What art schools are near you?

And her family would do all sort of things to help her cover up but of course the wind and what not seem to always reveal who she was underneath..guess God was telling her all that u wear to hid i dont know since to him we are perfect and beautiful with our flaws..just as we are..so in the end her family to show their love for her shaved their head bald..haha anyways just thought i share that with you... p.s. u did right in that train with the lady shows u a leader and humble.. :)

Carol said… - Love the idea for your comic, if I knew how to draw I would have done something similar year ago but alas, this is not where my talents lay. In my story though, she was a tough Canadian chick with alopecia universalis and she carried a big sword! Her goal was to right all the wrongs that were done to other alopecians, deal with the bullies and ppl who discriminate or even the hard core fetish people that won't leave us alone from time to time. Anyways, hope to read your finished work sometime. :)

I know from talking to women here at Univision here in NYC what an especially big challenge it is for our Latina sisters to talk freely about hair loss of any kind, especially alopecia areata.

Una de mis amigas tiene Alopecia Universalis and she also has a lot of stuggle with pendejos... como tu dices. All through school she was laughed at and screwed with. The kids at the high school her and I attended used to snatch her wig off and laugh in her face while she cried. I was always the one to stick up for her. I was in a lot of fights for defending her and I spent a lot of time in detention. Estoy feliz que tu estas aqui con nosotros. God will bless you for this.
