I was diagnosed With Alopecia Areata just days after my 21st birthday. I lost about 30% of my hair in less than 2 months. I did the steroid treatment only once. I decided against anymore injections because it didn't work. All it did was scar my scalp and give me chin hair. (bummer). Despite the treatment not working I was accepting of my condition. (Although I was still feeling bitter about returning to beauty school.. most might say "go back, raise awareness".. But it was still too new to go…See More
