- Im 40 and have suffered on- off with alopecia for the last 25 years..wooo! that makes me feel old! iv got to say i was at my worst in my teens and early 20,s which had obvious effects on my confidence and schooling...it was hell! the usual bullying etc.. i went from being Mr confidence to well between me and the rest of you in a nut house for 6mths.. with staff telling me its ok..dont worry?????? dont worry its all I bloody did..lol...anyway i have experienced a lot of things due to my alopecia.. but all i can say is when i was completely at my lowest and truly given up! was when my hair grew back!! so seriously! never say never! and feel free to ask me anything you guys want...stay safe and peace out x
