Microsoft will end support for and stop updating Windows XP next July, just found out. So use your XP machines like crazy until then. Cause come next summer, they're going to be real vulnerable to hack and exploit attacks,so you'd best upgrade the OS next June, in my opinion.

If you have XP, in a multi-user household, try Windows SteadyState. It allows the system to maintain its best shape no matter what users do, in essence, the users have a virtual copy of XP to use and abuse, lol. Download Steadystate from here:

Be sure to download the manual as well.

Dreamweaver is good for web design. There's a bit of a learning curve (as with all Adobe products) but the results are very professional looking.

To Dee....has your husband tried the Yahoo Sitebuilder? It is a website program that has templates and simple things, almost like AOL's Easy Designer. I did my pages on AOL and my Dad's business site with Yahoo Sitebuilder. If I can do it, anyone with a limited knowledge of computers and MS Office can do it.

Hi and thank you, Frank, for the invitation. I feel like my son should be in this group because he knows more about computers than I do, but then again, he has all his hair! My house has 2 Dell desk top computers, but only mine is hooked up to the Internet. We have tried a few times to use a router so that my son's computer can get the Internet, too, but it never seems to work out. I would have someone come in the house, but the only ones around are the Geek Squad and I am not sure I would trust them up in my bedrooms. Any suggestions?

HI Frank, My husband has taken over a travel agency his mother had before she passed. We know nothing about setting up a web page. Can you give us some pointers?
