HI, I have had alopecia universalis since I was 2 years old. I am so glad that Cheryl Carvery sent me the email regarding this site. I truly enjoy the NAAF conferences that my husband and I attend and the opportunities that they give me to make new friends in the alopecia world. If anyone would like to write me regarding their experiences with alopecia I would love to get to know you.

hi dee have had alopecia universalis since 13 but i have learned to embrace it,have stopped wearing wigs apart from at work.

hi i am not doing well and went in hospital, lost my job, i've lost a lot more than my hair and i still am not doing well. i just want to be happy and i am not.. i know there are worse things in life but this has always been my worst fear and now its happening to me. i cant stand it... i dont know what to do do you know much about FPB/ I feel i have AA but dr said FPB with biopsy when i pull it back you can see the big places.. and i just dont know what to do to fix it............ do you believe God will reward those of us like me who truly suffer in life having to deal with stuff like this, he will reward us when we get to heaven as I've been so humiliated and its not getting better... i am having a hard hard time.

do you know a lot about Female pattern, as that is what dr said my biopsy shows.. i'm not bald yet but i actually wish it would all fall out then i could just stop the worry... i'm tired of trying to keep up with all the places and i'm thinking of just shaving it and wearing a wig or not doing that and just wearing one... i'm scared to shave it, but actually i feel that would be a release for me....... can you give me some advice or can you tell me a lot about FPB? You are very pretty.. thanks i'm just not dealing with it well, i had to be hospitalized and have had 2 breakdowns from it and am trying to get myself better to go back to work.... its tough but i'm trying

Ah GREAT!! I spent alot of time in Gettysburg when I lived in Maryland. I dated a reenactor at one time. Awesome place!
