Angela, you're always typing something that's really worth reading. ;-) I believe Cheryl also detected that the images may not (all?) be someone's original artwork, but doctored celebrity photos. If so, I prefer to view them as a limited but still intriguing artistic statement perhaps nudging us to imagine a world in which bald is the new beautiful. It's also true that alopecic and adorable women come "in all shapes, sizes, and colors," so, as you suggested, maybe the "real women here" (in Alopecia World) can take on the project of projecting this deeper and more diverse reality through a spectacular video collage of their own. Will you be the second to volunteer? Cheryl's always first. ;-)

I agree with angela. It is extremely beautiful but not enough real women and girls. My daughter isn't ready to shave her head because she is a full figured young lady and is afraid of drawing anymore attention to her.....go figure she loves to be the center of attention. I would like to see some full figured young ladies so that my daughter can truly see that you CAN be bald, big and beautiful too!

These pics are beautiful! Why aren't there any kids on these?? I might have seen 1 child. How did you find these? I love AlopeciaWorld.com!!! It has helped me a lot with this alopecia thing and I am starting to learn how to be with it. I am doing very well and I would like to know how you are doing....haven't talked to you in awhile (niether has my mom)! So....How are ya!!!!!?????? This website is making a difference in a lot of people's lives including me. Thanks!
