It's about to be raining on my bald head

So this is going to be pretty short and random. Its 2 weeks ago today that I shaved my head, and the first day since then that it has rained. I was told rain feels really good on a bald head by like 4 different people. I asked if it was like taking a shower...but I was told no, its different, LOL I don't see how, but soon, I will find out. I feel like a dork, but I cannot wait for work to be over so I can walk to my car and feel rain on my bald head, LOL. Oh the little things in life that bring me joy!!

Hey, you're lucky. It usually rains on my parade... :(

But, Tamara: the other Good Thing about rain on a bald head? - it's really easy to dry off! Enjoy! :)

Does moving the sprinkler in the yard on weekends wigless and getting sprayed count?

I agree, I like the feeling of rain on my head, but I hate the cold! About a month ago we had one of those 90 degree days with a huge rain storm. I originally was running to the car to pick something up, on my return, I slowed down and just enjoyed the rain. It was awesome!

Well I was let down, when I walked out, the rain was like a few drops, then when I got in the car, it started coming down heavy! Then I got home, and it stopped again. It was like the rain was doing it on purpose, lol. My cousin and I got in the car to go do some shopping and right as I pulled into a gas station, it started to come down hard. So I pulled up to a pump and was telling my cousin something, I got out of the car still talking and in mid sentence I said "WOW, they were right!! This feels neat!!" She laughed at me so hard. I was pretty excited about it. It felt real nice. The best was when I got in the car and rubbed my head and it was dry, so you are right Norm!! Tallgirl - That does count!! LOL

Heyyyy! Ace! Glad you dried off fast.... watch for the rain running down your neck and under your clothes next time, though - you can get a real "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!" moment when that happens, especially when you lean back against something later... ;)

Oh, and your Song Of The Week is now "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.... "I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining..." sooooooooo true! :)

Tamara, you inspired me yesterday. Me and my husband were out walking the dogs and it started raining. I took off my bandana and felt the cool raindrops hit my head......it felt sweet! It was just another small step for me...."Because I'm freeeee, nothins's worryin meeee" ....there's that song in my head :-) Thanks Norm you really started something there :-)
