Well I'm newly diagnosed (april 2012) with AA & am still trying to come to terms with how big my bald patches have gotten over the last few months & now just today both my pinky toenails have fallen completely off for no apparent reason...I'm still waiting to see a specialist to get treatment if any & would love to get help from anyone out there who can recommend anything ??

Hi Lou and thanks for the friend add. John tells me we are neighbours lol...well not quite...but good to meet you. AA is quite an emotional roller coaster and whether we've been on the ride for a few weeks or some years it can still wipe us out at unexpected times.You'll find lots of support here that's for sure...

Hey Lou we are neighbors anytime you want a coffee we are down for it be great to chat alopecia and also just general chit chat i wish we had the web when Pat got AA we were alone and it was shit. We still hate alpoecia but we can live with it and it no longer rules our lives. catch up soon
