About Me:
I enjoyed looking at the pictures on this site. Lots of different people all looking great with no hair. Makes me feel better about myself. I started growing my locks during my 40th year, 8 years ago, as I wanted something to remember the beginning of my 40s. Now it looks as if I'll have a new look for the beginning of my 50s. Still hoping to be able to keep my locks, but if I do lose all my hair I hope I look as good as the people in the pictures.

Are you age 18 or older?

My youngest (who wasn't even a twinkle in my husband's eye during… Continue

For my 40th year (8 years ago) I wanted to do something that would mark the beginning of my 40s so I started growing locks. It has been a long journey and just as my hair was starting to look as I would like it, in comes Alopecia Areata!

No problem, I thought. My hair will grow back it always does but this isn't… Continue
