- I am a single mom of three great kids. Have a great full time job and was diagnosied with AA last year. I have been battleing with this ever since. I lost almost all my hair on the left side of my head and a few spot through out during my first bout with this. I received treatment of steroid injections for the smaller spot and DPCP for the larger. I had a great success with regrowth, but just recently have had another episode. I started with injections at the time I had one spot now I have four . I am joining here for support of others who suffer as well.

Trying to get a grip on AA

Hi everyone, I am new to the Alopecia world and was diagnosied last June with Alopecia Areata. It was such a shock when my daughter noticed the patch about the size of a quarter on the left side of my head...there were tears and alot of fears.
