Hey Ernesto -- thanks for your note. I'm hanging in there. My largest spot is now about the size and shape of a Sardine can (that's the best equivalent I can come up with). It seems to have stabilized for now -- not growing as quickly and I'm seeing a line of new dark hair coming in at the margins. So it seems that I'm recovering some of the most recently lost hair at the moment. It's all been such a big adjustment at the end of fairly stressful year. I'm hoping my body will be able to work out some sort of balance soon. Hope all is well with you! Cheers.
Hi Ernesto
Thanks for the friend invite I hope all is well. I guess you will be going to the NAFF conference next year it in LA. I met some great people there at the last one. Stay in touch and don't worry to much its only hair. Bald is in and you're still superman.
Hey Ernesto...where have u been man? I've kinda been MIA too, but really haven't heard from you in a while. How's life in the new apartment? Hope it's adding positive vibes to your recovery on the alopecia man. Drop me a line and an update when you can.
Happy New Year to you too. Hope it's a better year for us all!
I'm still pretty much the same hairwise. I've still got a good amount of regrowth (with a couple of bits to fill in completely) so really happy about that. I'm still totally paranoid about my hair though. There's a bit giving me a bit of concern as I can't quite work out if a new patch is starting or if it's an older patch that's still to fill in. It does look a bit on the pink side so I'm fearing the worst, to be honest. Hopefully it's just an isolated incident as the thought of having multiple patches again fills me with a huge fear! I'm sure you can sympathise with that feeling!
I saw a comment you left about you thinking that you were losing an eyebrow, but that you could be imagining it. I thought the same at one point and it didn't come to anything (and hopefully never will). I think that the panic that sets in when you have AA makes you see and worry about things that might not necessarily be happening.
Good to hear from you Ernesto and definitely glad to hear there's at least some postives going on though. I've still got my regrowth in the center of the spots like you do, but also like you, some shedding here and there still. Any big plans for Thanksgiving for you?
Ernesto, where've you been man? I know, you've not be coming here too much, but wanted to drop a note to see how you are. Hope things are going better than when we last chatted. Drop me a line and take care.
