- I have been teaching for a long time, first in primary schools and now in adult education. I lost my hair nearly 7 years ago and, after my initial despair, I have not let it limit my life at all.
I love bush-walking, reading, the theatre and concerts.

Olivia has had alopecia since age 2 and has lost all of her hair twice. When she was 8 years old she decided not to wear wigs or hats. Though totally bald she has a lot of self confidence and I am very proud of her. As a mom, it has not always been easy, but I am lucky that she is so strong. We recently wrote, filmed and produced a music video about alopecia and bullying. Olivia has never been bullied personally, but we know others who have been. You can view 'I Could Be Great!' on Olivia's profile page under videos. Let us know what you think about it and if there is anything we can do to help you, just let us know.
