I was diagnosed June 17th after my hairdesser found a round bald spot on my head and urged me to see the doctor. My better half had just told me Memorial Day weekend that I had a small spot and I thought she was blowing it out of proportion. Little did I know. I am 44 and this is the first sign of hair loss.

Hi Trish, I'm Brandy,31 and presently have A.A. It also staretd w/a small spot too and just took on a mind of it's own after that. It's very strange...it does what it wants..when it wants. I've had many a hair fall....and I've had many a hair grow. I'm currently losing my eyebrows...urgh...frustrating!! I gave up drawing them on as it seemed I always ended up wearing them on my hands!! LOL!! There have been plenty of ups and downs...many a hill to conquer...and thanks to this site..many a friend to find!!!
