- I am a 55 yr. old mother of 6 that did not know that such a support group was available. I have been going bald since I was 32 yrs. old. I am very ashamed of my hair loss and won't allow any one to see me without my head covered. I wear wigs daily. I also pray daily asking my heavenly Father to allow my hair to return. I am anxious to learn how others deal with this problem.

- Hi Reever. Green smoothies are not expensive because you buys the ingredients with your regular groceries anyways.
Here's a easy recipe to start with:
1 banana (chopped)
1apple (chopped)
1/2 cup baby spinach
1/2 cup water
and just blend...One of these a day will do wonders.
Easy.

- Hi Reever. I was interested in your comments. It seems that you have tried many many different things. And that alone can be very frustrating and disheartening. You are a beautiful woman! You are blessed to have such a caring family. I'm just wondering if you have ever tried to detox before? I don't mean an extreme detox but just cutting out preservatives and others chemicals that may cause a whole slew of health problems.
One of greatest gifts that was ever given to me was knowledge of the green smoothie.
Please google 'green smoothies' and let me know what you think. I have enormous faith in this drink because it makes sense. Pure and simple.

I wear wigs daily too. I prefer the way I look with wigs. Don't feel guilty because you want to look like you did before your hair loss. It's okay!
