Rebecca's Tortoise and Hair Fundraiser at Hummel's United Methodist Church
July 18, 2009 from 9am to 12pm
This is my 2nd Tortoise and Hair 5K/1mile walk and this year i've added a kids race! $15 pre-registration, $20 day of event. There are awards for all ages. Come enjoy a nice walk if your not a runner and the PICNIC afterwards. There will be a DJ playing your favorite tunes while your there! Come support research for Alopecia Areata, Totalis, and Universalis through raising money for NAAF.

- I've had Alopecia Universalis since i was 2 years old. I love music and being outdoors. I have a younger sister and brother and neither of them have alopecia, just me. However,I do have a great aunt and 2 cousins with the disease.
I attend Belmont University in Nashville, TN, for Music Business. Growing up with alopecia universalis has given me confidence and determination. I love to sing and have always wanted to be a country singer and now here I am in Nashville learning about careers in the Music industry and who knows where it will take me.
I'm excited about life and look foward to meeting new people and helping people who arent as confident.
