My little girl

My little girl (who is 2) woke up yesterday fine. 9 hours later when I picked her up from daycare she had a bald spot that was fairly noticeable...The doctor tells me it is Alopecia... I am unsure about everything...I sit here and ask myself what causes this and will her hair come back or will it keep getting balder..
