Coping

Signe is 11 and on her third, and most aggressive AA loss. The first two times she was young enough that it didn't really affect her, it was much easier to cover and we just rolled with it. However, "rolling with it" has become much more difficult because of advancing age and meaner kids. It doesn't help that Signe suffers anxiety and is a perfectionist.

wow, picking up a language in less than a year, she must be pretty determined! I always feel complemented when someone does bother to learn our "small" language. Especially coming from an English speaking country it is hard, because usually Swedes take the opportunity to practice English instead.
I spoke to Klara and she thinks a good idea getting them intouch. If you want, you can pass on your e-mail in a mess, if your daughter thinks it would be easier. I suppose my daughter would find e-mailing easier, cause she might need some time to put a mess together, at least in the beginning. We could also start trying with mess or comments.

Hi there!
Yes, my Klara must be just a few years younger than Signe. Shes born 2001. I ll tell Klara about Signe and Im sure she ll be happy to get in touch. Her name sure sound Swedish, is it possible that your daughter speaks Swedish? :-) My Klara doesnt speak that much English so far, but I can always translate what Signe writes if it done in English.
Take care

You are a wonderful, supportive mom. Believe it or not, many parents aren't so supportive!
Anyway -- I'm glad you're ordering the book! I know both you and Signe will like it. It's really helped a lot of people. In the meantime, I'm here and am happy to help, so let me know if you need anything.
