The West Texas Tortoise & Hair 5K & 1.5 Mile Run/Walk is a fund raising event in which 100% of the proceeds will go towards finding a treatment for Alopecia Areata. This is a poorly understood disease which affects over 5 million Americans. It occurs in both sexes and all races but children are most commonly affected.
