I came across an article about reducing stress and had a list of ideas. So I thought I should share the list, as it has helped me.
Begin and end each day with reflection, prayer or meditation...depending on your beliefs.
Laugh more often.
Keep you home tidy.
Do not over schedule.
Strive for realistic deadlines.
Never make a promise you can not keep.
Allow an extra 1/2 hour for everything you do.
Go to bed at 9pm twice a week.
Breathe deeply and often.
Set aside one day a week to rest and rejuvenate.
Do not answer the phone at dinner.
Do not try to please everyone, start pleasing yourself.
Avoid negative people when possible.
Do not squander time, creative energy and emotions.
Nurture friendships.
Do not be afraid of your passion.
Express love everyday.
Please remember this is just some ideas that may help and I am not dictating to anyone what to do. You decide for yourself!
