- I'm a married woman working in the healthcare field as Human Resources and Office Manager. I have had Alopecia Areata for nearly 16 years but I will never get used to it. Just in the last three months I have lost only my right eyebrow. That was nearly as devastating as my head being bald. I just recently created a blog to talk about my feelings just to help me cope and maybe inspire others who are suffering from the disease.
