About Me:
My first run-in with alopecia started when I was around 12. I lost part of my left eyebrow. We all thought it was because I was rubbing my eyes so much due to my horrible allergies. Then we figured out what it was. Some topical cream worked. Never really had hair on my legs or arms, just in patches. While getting my hair cut when I was 22 I thought the barber had cut a hole in my hair! After that it went downhill quickly. Within a month I decided to start shaving. Once almost all of the hair on my head came back, but that only lasted for a month. So strange! I am currently getting injections in my eyebrows, and am still shaving my head. I do have patches where it grows, and it grows fast! In the summertime it's less noticeable because of my tan. It is so weird how it will grow strong in one area and not the next. Would be nice for some doctors/scientists to figure this out! Finding this site was great, I'm glad we have a support network out there. Can't wait to meet you all!

I've done injections too in the past month since being diagnosed the hair seems to be gradually and I do mean gradually grpwing back in!
