I thought my life was perfect . I was doing good in school i had great friends and family I was just a normal teenager. But my hair my was not very happy it started falling out on the sides . Me and my family thought it was just stress and my iron in my body we thought it was just low. Well it eventualy grew back and i thought it was over and my life would go back to normal. But i was wrong=[. It was during last summer when it fell out around my front hair line. I was so upset and of course we thought it was me stressing and my thyroid so i went to the doctor and they said it was just stress and that i need to calm down and stop stressing. But how could i stop stressing i mean school was about to start and i had no hair in the front=[. Well it finally grew back. But the worst was not over yet. It was just about to hit . It was around november when my grandmother was helping me fix my hair when she saw that all my hair was gone about 2inchs up underneth i was completly bald I broke down crying when my parents found out . I had been keeping it from them because i was completly scared.Well i went to the doctor and they took blood. A couple days later we got the results and i was healthy there was nothing wrong with me. So that is when the doctor told us to go to a dermatalogist. So we went and she said that i had ALOPECIA AREATA =[. she said it was a hair disease and that it would never go away. I wanted to cry.=[ she was telling me that i had to live with this for the rest of my life. I had to live with the thought everyday of when will it fall out again? will it be worse this time? could i pass this on to my children?. Well i finally stopped thinking about it and got a wig. i wore it to school ,church ad nobody knew except my bestfriend. well somebody else found out about me wearing a wig and told the whole school. I started getting picked on.I was called baldy. It really hurt me .=[ so i finally told everyone and said hey if you want to pick on me go head but how would you feel if everyone started calling you baldy and you had no hair? it stopped after that and after i went to guidence. well it is summer of 2009 and all of my hair is grown back i got my hair cut short it is in my slideshow of pics along with a pic of my new hair in the back.
