I live in East Tennessee about 30 miles outside of Knoxville. I have had alopecia since I was 4.5 years old. I have been AU for about 10 years now.

My 15 year old daughter is acutually the one with Alopecia Areata and I love for her to meet others in our area with Alopecia so she doesn't feel so alone. I mean I'm just mom and I don't understand anything, right? We just moved to Maryville about a year ago but her only contact with anyone else with Alopecia is on the site. Thanks for everyone being so helpful and nice.

So glad that you've got this up as a way to find each other...this networking site is the core and the way forward for alopecia support!
